Doulos for Christ World Harvest Ministry (DFCWHM) started with a dream to revolutionize the campus. An outcry of the heart to change and make an impact in the lives of many. It is the message that Bishop Oriel M. Ballano (BOMB) received from his intimate relationship with God. In 1988, he started with a small group of people from the Far Eastern University. Even with limited resources, it didn’t hinder him to reach out to the students. Holding how God transformed his life from his lifestyle, the environment he grew up and mistakes he experienced, Bishop Oriel believes that there is still hope for everybody. A hope that drives him to share the good news and how life can be beautiful if you accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour.
As BOMB continues to deepen his relationship with God and keeping the heart and desire to expand God’s kingdom, he adopted the G12 vision in 2003. A vision that is primarily about loving God and loving people and a strategy that focuses on following Christ with His command to go and make disciples of all nations. With this strategy and together with his wife, Pastora Geraldine Ballano, they raise up and lead 12 disciples of men and women, to reproduce the character of Christ, as they do the same in leading their team of 12. Focusing on discipleship and to banner the name of Jesus, the church experienced rapid multiplication that eventually influences other churches from different parts of the Philippines.
February of 2010, BOMB was ordained Bishop by the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC). More than the title BOMB still continues to serve God and people, living the meaning of Doulos. And in the same year, Doulos for Christ was able to conduct Sunday Cell Celebration at PICC Forum. A breakthrough entrusted out of faith, hard work and passion to reach out to more people.
In the next year, 2011, Doulos for Christ started the midweek service for the youth at Isetan Recto. It is called WildSons, Seed of the Nation. With BOMB’s different accomplishments his heart for the youth never dies, it just grew even more. Together with his team, they started Wildsons at the university belt to make an effort to bring a nearer place for students to worship and know more about God. As they help out more people, God entrusted them a bigger venue to conduct the Sunday Cell Celebration at World Trade Center Tent in the year of 2013. A bigger opportunity to invite more people for them to start up a new life with Jesus.
As the people grew not just in numbers but also in terms of their next level, Crossover was opened to other locations, 2014 at Makati and 2016 in Ortigas. This midweek service aims to help students as they transition from student to professionals by attending their needs on how to love God and His people, despite the busy working schedules. Having multiple places in different parts of the central business in the country, Doulos was able to conquer cities and help professionals find their way back to God.
To help more people put their lives back into order, Doulos take a lift of faith by declaring triumph over Cuneta Astrodome in 2016. With God’s grace and power, DFCWHM knows that the place will be filled with more souls that follow Jesus’ footsteps. A place that will house people hungry for change that have brighter vision for the Philippines. As Doulos for Christ World Harvest Ministry continues to produce disciples of God who are leaders of leaders, truly nation transformation will not just remain as a goal but it will be a reality.
It started with a dream for the young people and the dream will continue up to the next generations. Doulos will not stop serving God, His people and other churches here in the Philippines and even to other countries. There can be successes along the way but all of these are considered done and will remain in the past. Jesus will always be important and worth more than all of these accomplishments. DFCWHM will focus on what is ahead for there are greater and bright things not just for Doulos but to the whole churches in the Philippines and around the globe. Following the bible as the final authority, Doulos for Christ, together with the Ballano family will always bring back all the glory and honor to Name above all names, and that is Jesus. Doulos will always keep the heart of a bondservant. Doulos is to serve!
What is Doulos?
Doulos is a Greek word that means “bondservant.” A bondservant is a slave who becomes a freeman yet still chooses to give up his/her personal rights of freedom to stay and serve a master. A decision that he/she is willing to take for the rest of his/her life.

What We Believe
We believe that there is one God, Who is the maker of heaven and earth. That God is infinite, almighty, immutable, and perfect in holiness, truth, and love. That God is revealed in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-existent, co-equal, and co-eternal.
Vision & Mission
To make every believer a leader of leaders. As disciples of God, it is our great privilege to be entrusted with a ministry that can glorify the name of Jesus. As we bring out the best in each other in our cell groups, we are after the growth of one another. We will carry the right DNA as reliable disciples and witnesses of God’s divine power.
